To strengthen grid resilience, Taipower previously implemented a 20-MW energy storage system at the Tainan Salt Fields Solar Farm and the Kaohsiung Luyuan Substation, as well as a 60-MW energy storage system at the Longtan Extra-High Voltage (EHV) Substation earlier this year.
Projects such as the Luyuan and Longtan energy storage systems have been completed, and with the Dongshan energy storage system now online and integrated into the grid, Taipower has officially achieved a milestone in its self-built energy storage initiatives.
