Among these alternatives, the integrated photovoltaic energy storage system, a novel energy solution combining solar energy harnessing and storage capabilities, garners significant attention compared to the traditional separated photovoltaic energy storage system.
In PV systems, energy storage has a variety of uses, such as load balancing, backup power, time-of-use optimization, and grid stabilization. Table 13 summarizes some applications of PV systems used in storing energy [89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103]. Table 13.
