By addressing these challenges, mobile energy storage systems emerge as a flexible resource.

While the mobility of mobile energy storage systems and the distributed nature of electric vehicles exhibit spatiotemporal complementarity, existing research has predominantly focused on either the scheduling of isolated mobile energy storage systems or the charging management of static electric vehicles.
To maximize the synergistic potential of jointly scheduling electric vehicles and mobile energy storage systems, this study develops a collaborative scheduling model incorporating the prediction of geographically and chronologically varying distributions of electric vehicles.
