Explosion protected fans are particularly in demand in chemical factories, refineries, paint shops and paint factories, refuelling and conveyor systems for flammable liquids, gases and solids, as well as in environments with combustible dusts, such as the processing of coal, wood, coffee, cocoa or in grain mills.
Compact, explosion-proof solution for ventilation of battery charging and industrial facilities EX fan designed for use in battery-charging rooms, fume cupboards and other demanding environments where explosive atmospheres can occur. The fan combines a compact design highly resistant to environmental stressors with a reliable ATEX rated AC motor.
The casing of EX fans is made from casted silumin alloy. Terminal box integrated to the motor enclosure. Mounting brackets made of galvanized sheet still connected to the motor. Single phase version of the fan is also completed with capacitor. EX fan uses lightweight single inlet radial impeller with forward curved blades made from aluminium.
The EX 1-phase fans are not voltage controllable. If a controllable EX 1-phase fan is needed, the corresponding EX 3-phase fan must be used in combination with a pre-programmed frequency converter (#474200). Fan can be installed in any position by using preinstalled mounting brackets.
