Eurowind Energy has announced the development of one of Denmark’s largest Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), in collaboration with BOS Power. The project will be integrated at Eurowind’s 84.8MW GreenLab Skive hybrid solar and wind facility, marking a significant step in the country’s renewable energy landscape.
BOS Power will serve as the system integrator for the project, delivering a 45MWh, two-hour battery system. Eurowind Energy will oversee the construction of the plant. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2025, providing essential ancillary and frequency control services to Denmark’s transmission system operator, Energinet.
Developer Better Energy is deploying its first major battery storage project, a 10MW/12MWh system, at one of its solar PV plants in Denmark.
Our goal is to build an integrated business where technology, power trading, and development work together to create long-term value. Initiating a battery storage project involves ensuring proximity to the grid’s transmission level, with a screening process initiated with grid operators to assess available capacity.
Our home solar PV systems and energy storage products are engineered for reliability, safety, and efficient deployment in Polish conditions. All systems include comprehensive monitoring and control with remote management capabilities.
